About our keynote speaker:
Renee Champagne is a USAF Veteran, Military Spouse, mother, wellness coach, and holds several certificates in yoga. Renee has taught yoga to military populations since 2007 and continues to find innovative ways to help foster Post Traumatic Growth. She is the Yoga Coordinator at Walter Reed and on the faculty at Warriors at Ease.
Renee is an advocate for military families. She is a Liaison for Give an Hour, Family Therapist and owns Sustaining Youth And Families which launches June 2017.
As an endurance athlete and trauma survivor, Renee has first-hand knowledge of the benefits of yoga. She completed a yoga series for the CHAMP at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Yoga International. Her ability to overcome and thrive make her a sought out speaker about trauma, resilience, and Post Traumatic Growth.
Renee has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from William and Mary with a focus on wellness, families, and trauma. Renee and her service dog Miley are highlighted in the book Reporting For Duty by Tracy Libby.
