Meet Brianna Greth, Heritage Humane’s Animal Care and Medical Coordinator. Brianna works with many of our special case kitties that need extra love and socialization. She has taken the time to get to know Hugs true personality, and now Hugs will warm up to so many others. It has taken months of patience and kindness for Hugs, but she is ready to meet the right person or individual and to go to her new home.
Brianna said, “I joined Heritage Humane Society’s staff to help animals, give them a voice, and protect them. HHS goes to great lengths to find loving and suitable homes for each and every animal. We give them a second chance at life. Staff members go the extra mile to make sure the animals receive the love and attention that they need. This is why I love and support Heritage! I see animals come through here neglected and abused but still have so much love to give. Their unconditional love pushes me to keep fighting.”
She continues, “Hugs is a wonderful senior cat! The first thing you will notice about Hugs is that she is very vocal. Carrying on a conversation with her is never really hard. She is a little skeptical about strangers but if you greet her the proper way, she will be your friend forever. Hugs is particular about most things including what she prefers to eat. She will only let you pet her if she smells your hand first. She will also let you know when she has had enough attention. Hugs knows what she wants and knows what she likes, anything less will not suit her. I call her “pretty girl” every time I see her; she always responds very well to this. She is a pretty, beautiful girl whose sweet face and tender meows will make its way into your heart.”
We hope you’ll help us get Hugs a home, and as a long-term resident, the adoption fee is just $14 until President’s Day (Feb. 20). Thank you for your dedication and concern for each pet, Brianna.
